Lahti Events has its roots in major sports events, in which we have provided various services and productions for the audience, companies, media, athletes, VIP guests and volunteer officials.

LAHTI 2017

Lahti Events Oy was the event production company responsible for the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships 2017 in Lahti. A total of 270,000 visitors attended the event, with 95% of them being happy or very happy with their experience. Feedback from other customer groups was also very positive. 663 athletes from 60 countries, 1,497 media representatives and 3,163 officials took part in the event.

The Lahti2017 event was in many ways a pioneer in its category. Sustainable development, service design and the host city concept encompassing the entire city of Lahti — among many other details — made Lahti 2017 into an event where everyone had a good time.

Lahti Ski Games 2019

Lahti Events produced the 94th Lahti Ski Games together with Lahti Ski Club, Finnish Ski Association and City of Lahti.  28,000 spectators, 600 sports team members, 358 media representatives, 1,085 volunteer officials, 1,500 VIP guests and tens of millions of television viewers made the games into the most impressive event Lahti saw in 2019. The story continues in 2020.

Company event

An event does not always have to be massive. Small can also be beautiful, as long the end customer is satisfied. We organised an intimate dinner event at the top of the Lahti Ski Jump Tower, creating a unique setting with a kitchen, observation deck, cocktail bar and dining hall.
